139th Canton Fair Opens with New Drone, Display, and Robotics Zones
Canton Fair has introduced nine new product zones in Phase 1 of its 139th session, reflecting structural changes in global trade and China's evolving export portfolio, announced in a press release.
Among the new additions are consumer and agricultural drone zones, both debuting at the event. The consumer drone zone features advances in flight control, AI based obstacle avoidance, and energy efficiency for uses in imaging, tourism, emergency response, and patrol. The agricultural drone zone demonstrates precision farming applications, including spraying, seeding, and field management with intelligent route planning and terrain following.
Display technology is another focus area, showcasing improvements in color accuracy, energy efficiency, and visual performance. Exhibitors highlighted developments in fine grained control, expanded color gamut, and reduced power consumption.
The smart wearables zone presents devices designed for language translation, noise cancellation, and health monitoring. The service robots zone displays AI powered robots across industrial, commercial, and medical applications, emphasizing greater autonomy and sensory perception.
By adding dedicated technology zones, the fair continues to serve as a platform for global buyers to engage with emerging innovations in AI, robotics, and advanced manufacturing.
