1stProtect and Multiverse Computing Partner on Secure On-Device AI

July 03, 2026
1stProtect and Multiverse Computing have announced a partnership to deliver secure AI inference at the edge by combining runtime enforcement and quantum-inspired model compression.

1stProtect and Multiverse Computing have formed a partnership to deliver secure AI inference directly on devices, announced in a press release. The collaboration combines 1stProtect's runtime security enforcement with Multiverse's quantum inspired AI model compression technology, aiming to give enterprises high performance AI that runs offline without cloud dependency.

Under the arrangement, Multiverse's CompactifAI software compresses large language models by up to 95 percent with minimal precision loss, enabling them to execute locally on hardware from smartphones to industrial devices. 1stProtect's runtime layer then applies continuous protection with sub 100 millisecond latency to prevent prompt injection, model theft, and unauthorized agent activity.

The joint system targets environments such as defense systems, healthcare networks, and critical infrastructure, where data sovereignty and limited connectivity restrict cloud use. It extends 1stProtect’s AgentProtect offering, which is already available for companies seeking to implement on-device AI with integrated security controls.
