7shifts Adds AI Course Creation for Restaurant Training

7shifts launches Employee Training, a restaurant training tool built into its HR platform, according to a company press release. The feature uses AI to turn existing procedures, menus and employee handbooks into structured courses.

Operators can assign courses by location, department or role, add quizzes, set due dates and track completion. Employees access assigned courses through the 7shifts mobile app.

The Sandpiper, a restaurant group with two locations in Idaho, used the tool to convert existing brand materials into training for new staff. Its human resources manager estimated that replacing manual course preparation could save six to eight hours every two weeks. Employee Training is included with 7shifts Premium.
