Acer Medical Unveils aiMed AI Documentation System
Acer Medical has unveiled aiMed, its new generative AI medical documentation system, at the next@acer global press conference ahead of IFA 2025 in Berlin. This announcement was made in a press release and highlights Acer Medical's commitment to transforming healthcare through AI and digital innovation.
aiMed addresses the challenge of clinical documentation overload, which consumes up to 25% of healthcare providers' working hours. The system uses advanced real-time AI processing to convert voice dictation or typed notes into structured electronic medical records (EMRs), ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare documentation standards.
The aiMed system aims to reduce administrative workload, minimize documentation errors, and enhance patient safety by allowing more time for physician-patient interactions. It features an Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) function that incorporates specialized medical terminology and contextual understanding, supported by a secure cloud-based architecture for data protection.
In addition to aiMed, Acer Medical offers the VeriSee platform, an AI-assisted ophthalmology analysis tool that supports multiple AI modules for conditions like diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration. The platform is deployed in over 500 clinics and hospitals across 14 international markets, further showcasing Acer Medical's role in advancing digital healthcare solutions.
