Actian Launches Data Observability for AI-Ready Data

May 12, 2025
Actian has introduced Actian Data Observability, a solution leveraging AI and machine learning to enhance data quality and support AI initiatives, announced in a press release.

Actian, the data division of HCLSoftware, has launched Actian Data Observability, a new solution designed to enhance data quality for AI applications. Announced in a press release, this tool uses AI and machine learning to provide comprehensive monitoring of data quality, anomaly detection, and resolution.

Actian Data Observability addresses the limitations of traditional data quality methods by offering real-time capabilities and continuous monitoring across entire data ecosystems. It defines and runs thousands of data quality rules concurrently, covering critical dimensions such as freshness, volume, and schema drift. The solution also includes machine learning-driven anomaly detection to identify outliers and unexpected patterns, facilitating faster resolution.

The platform is built to integrate seamlessly with cloud data warehouses, data lakes, and streaming platforms, ensuring data integrity without compromising performance. Actian Data Observability will be available globally in June 2025 and as part of the Actian Data Intelligence Platform in the fall of 2025.
