ADP Expands AWS Partnership for HR and Payroll AI
ADP and Amazon Web Services expanded their strategic partnership, with AWS becoming ADP's strategic cloud provider, the companies announced in a press release. The agreement covers cloud migration and AI services for ADP's HR, payroll, and compliance products.
ADP will use AWS Transform and AWS Kiro to migrate thousands of applications, including tax and payroll systems. Its ADP Assist agents use Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to automate HR processes, identify payroll anomalies, answer questions, and create reports under human oversight.
AWS technology also supports ADP Lyric HCM and the company's global workforce data platform. ADP said a generative AI onboarding process reduced certain critical steps by more than 50%. The data platform includes information covering 42 million wage earners, while ADP serves more than 1.1 million clients across 140 countries and territories.

The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
