Advantage Partners Gains Accreditations for AI and Privacy Certification

Advantage Partners received IAS accreditations to conduct audits and issue ISO/IEC 42001 and ISO/IEC 27701 certifications for AI governance and privacy management.

Advantage Partners said in a press release that the International Accreditation Service accredited it to conduct audits and issue ISO/IEC 42001 and ISO/IEC 27701 certifications. The standards cover AI management systems and privacy information management systems, respectively.

ISO/IEC 42001 sets requirements for AI governance, risk management, transparency and accountability. ISO/IEC 27701 covers the management of personally identifiable information, privacy risks, data rights and vendor relationships.

The accreditations expand the firm's existing certification services for ISO/IEC 27001 information security management systems. Advantage Partners is accredited for ISO/IEC 27701:2019 and is transitioning to the 2025 version under IAS requirements.
