AgiBot Proposes Worken Metric for Robot Productivity
AgiBot introduced Worken, a proposed framework for measuring productive robot work, the company said in a press release. Worken multiplies the number of active robots by their autonomous working hours and an output efficiency ratio based on a task benchmark.
The metric excludes robots held in inventory and time when machines are powered on but not working autonomously. AgiBot plans to refine it using task specific benchmarks and operating data from deployments in manufacturing, logistics, inspection and commercial services.
AgiBot also unveiled its AHA3 humanoid hardware platform, GO-3 Preview embodied AI model and WITA-Omni interaction model. It launched the G2 Max industrial robot, which offers 21 degrees of freedom, dual arm handling of up to 40 kilograms and an adjustable working height of 0.1 to 2.5 meters.
The company also released Link-U OS 1.0, an operating system that connects robot hardware with applications. Selected partners are testing the software, and AgiBot plans to make it fully open source by the end of 2026.
