Agility Robotics CEO Peggy Johnson Joins Defense Study
Agility Robotics CEO Peggy Johnson will participate in Project Meridian, the company said in a press release. The Department of War commissioned the MITRE led initiative to examine technologies, operational concepts and capabilities that could shape future warfare.
Project Meridian will develop recommendations covering a 10 to 20 year period to inform defense capability planning and investment priorities. Johnson will contribute experience from commercial humanoid robot deployments, with a focus on logistics, operational support and physically demanding tasks.
Johnson will serve as an individual consultant to MITRE. Her participation is separate from Agility Robotics' commercial operations.
