ai& and Voltaiq Plan Battery Storage for AI Data Centers in Japan
ai& and Voltaiq announced in a press release plans to deploy battery energy storage systems across ai& AI data centers in Japan. Voltaiq will provide its Enterprise Battery AI Platform to track battery quality, safety, and performance from selection through operation.
The system will link battery data from design, cell manufacturing, system integration, commissioning, and field operation into a continuous record. Voltaiq said its platform uses a battery data ontology to compare and trace information across materials, manufacturing, testing, operations, and quality.
The companies said the initial work will focus on planned ai& deployments in Japan. They also said they intend to expand the approach to additional sites, markets, and battery system partners over time.
