AI in Edge Computing Market to Reach $83.86 Billion by 2032, DataM Intelligence Reports
The global AI in edge computing market is projected to expand from $16.54 billion in 2024 to $83.86 billion by 2032, growing at a compound annual rate of 22.5%, according to a report by DataM Intelligence. The growth is attributed to the integration of artificial intelligence and edge computing technologies that enable real-time data processing, lower latency, and localized decision-making.
The report highlights that enterprises are shifting from cloud-centric models to distributed edge architectures powered by AI. Key growth drivers include data proliferation, 5G deployment, hardware acceleration, and enterprise AI adoption. In 2024, software accounted for 48% of the market, while on-premises deployments represented 60% of total revenue.
By organization size, large enterprises held a 65% share, and by technology, machine learning led with 45%. The industrial IoT application segment remains dominant, and manufacturing was the leading end-use industry with 22% market share. Regionally, the United States led with 38% of the global market.
Key players in the market include NVIDIA, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Corporation, alongside Cisco and IBM, which continue to advance edge AI technologies. The report anticipates continued expansion through 2032 as industries adopt intelligent infrastructure and 5G-enabled edge solutions.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
