T. Rowe Price, JPMorganChase, MetLife Investment Management, Porsche Financial Services and HPE are among the firms represented at AI in Finance Summit Fall, where finance teams will test which AI projects actually pay for themselves.

RE•WORK will host the summit on October 21 and 22, 2026, at the W Hoboken in Hoboken, New Jersey, across the river from Manhattan. The event is for senior leaders in banking, insurance, asset management, fintech and financial services who are moving AI from pilots into production. Daily AI Brief is a media partner of the summit.

The keynote asks when extra model capacity stops helping. Argyro Tasitsiomi, Head of AI and Investments Data Science at T. Rowe Price, presents "Complexity in Financial Forecasting: When More AI Model Capacity Helps and When It Doesn't". Her argument is that what matters is not how many features or parameters a model has but how much stable forecasting flexibility the data can support, once sample size, feature geometry and regularization are accounted for. In noisy, low signal financial settings, she holds that disciplined benchmarks such as regularized linear models and exact kernel methods remain critical for judging whether complexity is adding real value.

A panel called "Show Me the Money: Finding Real Value in AI Projects" asks where AI is actually making money rather than headlines, how much of an AI budget is real return against expensive experimentation, which use case in finance is the most overhyped right now, and why so many promising pilots fail to deliver at scale. Panelists are Biswa Sengupta, Chief AI Technologist for LLM Suite in the CDAO office at JPMorganChase, Sarah Zeis, Manager, Data Intelligence and Advanced Analytics at Porsche Financial Services, Lovedeep Saini, Chief Analytics Officer at Conner Strong & Buckelew, Sheedsa Ali, Head of Quantitative Equities at MetLife Investment Management, and Robin Braun, VP AI Business Development, Hybrid Cloud at HPE.

A third session, "AI in Finance Unfiltered: Ask the Experts", runs without slides and takes candid questions from the floor in real time.
