Aignostics Opens Early Access to PathoSearch

PathoSearch lets pathologists use an H&E slide screenshot to find similar diagnosed reference cases. The research tool draws from more than 310,000 whole slide images.

Aignostics announced in a press release the early access release of PathoSearch, a visual search engine for pathology cases. Users can submit a screenshot of a region on an H&E slide to retrieve diagnosed reference cases with similar morphology.

PathoSearch uses a multi center reference database and embeddings from Atlas 2, a pathology foundation model created with Mayo Clinic. Its results link to cases annotated and validated by pathologists, with many also confirmed through molecular testing.

The database contains more than 310,000 whole slide images from over 35,000 cases. It covers more than 300 diagnostic entities across at least 27 organs, with an initial focus on malignant tumors. Aignostics plans to expand it beyond one million images before general availability.

The first integration is available through Techcyte Fusion AP. PathoSearch is free during early access and is limited to research use. It is not intended for diagnostic procedures.
