AINGENS Warns AI Tool Fragmentation Complicates Medical Affairs Work

AINGENS stated in a press release that using separate AI tools for literature searches, drafting, citations, and review can increase cognitive load and weaken traceability in medical affairs work. Moving information among systems requires users to restore context and can make it harder to reconstruct how scientific content was created and reviewed during an audit.

The company developed its Medical Affairs Content Generator to combine PubMed search, literature summaries, evidence gathering, drafting, citations, reference management, editing, collaboration, and presentation creation in one workspace. AINGENS says the system records how evidence and citations move through the content process.

AINGENS advises medical affairs teams to evaluate governance before broad AI adoption. It recommends testing systems against intended workflows and establishing policies and procedures because an AI model alone does not provide a complete governance framework.
