Airties Adds Router Security to Connectivity Platform

Airties expands its Connectivity Experience Management Platform with integrated cybersecurity tools, the company said in a press release. The tools let internet service providers detect and address threats across connected homes and small businesses, using the router as an additional security layer.

The platform offers malicious website blocking, content filtering, parental controls, and blocking for ads and trackers. Advanced features include AI threat detection, protection for routers and smart devices, port scan detection, brute force attack prevention, and identification of traffic anomalies and botnet command and control activity. Providers can block or quarantine infected devices without requiring subscribers to install extra software.

Controls for small and medium sized businesses include Ethernet port blocking, network segmentation with separate policies for each network name, and client isolation. The platform can also extend protection across wireless and mobile networks.
