Amazon Enhances Robotics and Delivery with AI Innovations
Amazon is advancing its robotics and delivery systems with new AI technologies, according to Reuters. The company is developing an AI framework that enables robots to understand natural language commands, allowing them to perform tasks autonomously. This initiative is part of Amazon's Lab126 hardware research-and-development unit.
In addition to robotics, Amazon is using generative AI to enhance delivery maps, which will assist drivers in navigating complex locations such as large office complexes and housing developments. This technology aims to improve delivery precision and efficiency.
Amazon is also optimizing its supply chain with AI models that process vast amounts of data to forecast and position inventory more effectively. These advancements are expected to reduce waste and carbon emissions, contributing to faster and more efficient deliveries.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
