Anduril Adopts Dirac AI for Factory Work Instructions

January 20, 2026
Anduril Industries has chosen Dirac as its partner for AI-powered work instruction authoring across its manufacturing operations, significantly reducing authoring times and improving production efficiency.

Anduril Industries has selected Dirac as its core partner for AI-driven work instruction authoring across its manufacturing operations, announced in a press release. The multi-year collaboration follows an evaluation of existing enterprise solutions and internal tools.

Initial deployments showed an average 87.5% reduction in work instruction authoring time, cutting the process from 12 business hours to about 90 minutes. The partnership has resulted in a tenfold improvement in the speed of a key manufacturing coordination process.

Dirac’s BuildOS platform maintains a live, model-based representation of products and factories, automatically generating and updating work instructions as design changes occur. This reduces manual reauthoring and enables continuous feedback on design-for-manufacturability, cost, and production constraints.

Anduril plans to expand the use of Dirac’s system across additional manufacturing programs, with deeper integrations over time.
