Anthropic has announced the integration of Claude Code into its enterprise plans, allowing businesses to leverage advanced coding tools and admin controls.

Anthropic has announced the integration of Claude Code into its enterprise plans, according to a company announcement. This move allows businesses to access the command-line coding tool as part of a broader suite, enhancing integration capabilities and providing more robust admin tools.

Previously available only to individual users, Claude Code is now bundled with enterprise subscriptions, addressing the demand for more sophisticated integrations. This integration positions Anthropic to better compete with similar tools from Google and GitHub, which have offered enterprise integrations from the start.

The new enterprise offering includes features like granular spending controls and a Compliance API, which provides programmatic access to usage data for better observability and governance. Businesses can now develop Claude Code prompts in conjunction with the Claude chatbot, enabling deeper integration with internal data sources.

Early adopters, such as Behavox and Altana, have reported significant improvements in productivity and development velocity, highlighting the tool's effectiveness in enhancing AI/ML system development and compliance operations.
