AnX Robotica Cites 88.6% ProScan Review Time Reduction

Oct 12, 2026
AnX Robotica says an FDA filing shows NaviCam ProScan reduced mean small bowel capsule review time from 33 minutes 42 seconds to 3 minutes 50 seconds.

AnX Robotica said in a press release that its NaviCam ProScan software reduced mean small bowel capsule review time by 88.6% in a study documented by the US Food and Drug Administration.

The prospective study included 133 patients. Mean reading time fell from 33 minutes 42 seconds with standard review to 3 minutes 50 seconds with AI assistance. Diagnostic yield was 62.4% with standard review and 73.7% with AI assistance.

AnX compared these figures with a separate FDA filing for another capsule endoscopy platform, which reported a 24.7% reduction from 45.7 minutes to 34.4 minutes. The studies used different systems, patients, designs and readers, so the results do not represent a direct comparison. Both tools assist clinicians, who remain responsible for interpreting the studies.
