Apodex Releases Apodex 1.1 Reasoning Model and Workbench

Apodex released Apodex 1.1, a reasoning model and online workbench for verifiable professional, scientific and financial tasks. The company also released open weights for Apodex 1.1 Mini and open sourced its FrontierAgent execution framework.

Apodex announced in a press release Apodex 1.1, a reasoning model and online workbench for professional, scientific and financial tasks.

The system works inside a persistent workspace where it can analyze papers, datasets, spreadsheets, images and code. Apodex says it can track conclusions back to sources, calculations and files, while handling search, mathematics and coding tasks.

The company also released open weights for Apodex 1.1 Mini, which has 35 billion parameters, and open sourced FrontierAgent, its execution framework for ReAct and Agent Team workflows. FrontierAgent runs from a single command on macOS and Linux without Docker.

Artificial Analysis scored Apodex 1.1 at 44 on its Intelligence Index on August 31. Apodex says Apodex 1.1 Mini scored 50.2 on FrontierFinance and 51.7 on FrontierScience Research.
