Applied Intuition Partners With Honda on Vehicle Software Platform
Applied Intuition and Honda are partnering to develop a centralized software platform for software defined vehicles, the companies announced in a press release. Applied Intuition will provide its Vehicle OS software to support Honda's internal engineering teams.
The platform will support Honda's future vehicle architecture and allow software upgrades and personalized features. The work covers all powertrains, including hybrid vehicles.
Engineering teams in Japan and Silicon Valley will collaborate on the platform. Honda will retain control of its vehicle architecture and software direction.
