Appy Pie Secures US Patent for Conversational App Builder

Appy Pie LLP said in a press release that the United States Patent and Trademark Office granted it a patent for technology that creates and launches apps through natural language conversations. US Patent No. 12,737,158 B2 was issued on September 15, 2026.

The system interprets voice or text requests, identifies the intended features, and builds an app for deployment after user confirmation. Corrections and confirmations made during conversations update its language model in real time.

The patent also covers three interaction modes. Blind Mode supports app creation through voice, Voice Enabled Mode combines speech and typing, and Friend Mode guides users with automated conversational prompts. The patent originated from an international application filed in June 2021 and contains 10 claims.
