ARCYN Defense Opens Second Seed Round to Advance Iron Rain Counter-UAS System
ARCYN Defense announced in a press release the opening of its second seed financing round to support accelerated development and field testing of its Iron Rain counter-unmanned aerial systems platform. The system uses kinetic energy to defeat drone threats and integrates edge AI targeting, modular projectile architecture, and a high rate of fire design.
The funding will be used for engineering, prototype refinement, field validation, and preparation for commercialization. The company recently signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center and plans to participate in an upcoming Department of War field trial.
Iron Rain is being developed as a kinetic defense alternative to electronic jamming or directed energy systems. It is designed to detect, track, and neutralize aerial threats in real time across contested environments, providing a portable and scalable option for military and infrastructure protection.
