Arkero Raises $6 Million Pre-Seed Funding, Partners with Major Sports Teams
Announced in a press release, Arkero has raised $6 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Roger Ehrenberg at Game Changers Ventures, with participation from Alexis Ohanian’s 776, David Tisch’s BoxGroup, Garuda Ventures, Founders’ Co-op, and strategic investors including Adrian Hanauer of the Seattle Sounders and Seattle Reign.
The company also announced early partnerships with professional sports teams from Major League Soccer (MLS), the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), and the English Football League (EFL). Initial partners include the Seattle Sounders, Seattle Reign, San Diego FC, and Bolton Wanderers FC.
Arkero’s platform integrates AI across sports operations, centralizing data, workflows, and decision-making into a single system. Early deployments focus on matchday planning and season-ticket renewals, with teams like the Sounders and Reign projecting efficiency improvements of over 50% in 2026.
Founded by Daniel Shi, Shivaas Gulati, and Vamsi Narla, the team previously worked together at Remitly. Arkero’s AI system connects with existing tools such as data warehouses, Slack, and CRM systems to automate operational tasks and enable faster, data-driven decisions for sports organizations.
