Orion-1 investigates security signals across connected systems and can recommend or trigger responses under customer defined controls.

Artemis Security released Orion-1, a foundation model for cyber defense, the company announced in a press release. The model is available through the Artemis platform in private preview for selected customers.

Orion-1 investigates an initial security signal across connected systems, combines evidence, states its confidence and recommends or triggers a response. Customers can set autonomy levels for each action type, while high impact responses require human approval by default. Investigations and actions are logged for audits.

Artemis says it trained Orion-1 using scenarios based on millions of defensive operations, without customer data. In the company's Decision Grade Readiness benchmark, Orion-1 scored 80.8 on attack reconstruction, compared with 58.3 for the best performing general model tested.
