Ashland University and Ed3 are offering AI literacy and professional development courses for K-12 educators across Ohio.

Ashland University and Ed3 are offering AI literacy and professional development courses for K-12 educators across Ohio, the organizations said in a press release. The statewide program launched in June 2026.

Ashland University will provide the jointly developed courses for graduate credit and continuing education units. Educators can combine courses over time to build credentials.

The training covers safe and responsible classroom use of AI, with an emphasis on teaching practices and student learning. The courses align with Ohio's AI in Education Coalition Strategy and model policy guidelines.
