Assort Health and Nextech to Build AI Agent for Ophthalmology Practices
Assort Health and Nextech announced in a press release that they will codevelop an AI agent offering for Nextech customers. The companies plan to deepen the agent's integration with the Nextech platform for ophthalmology practices.
Assort Health's existing Nextech Practice+ integration supports access to patient and appointment information, scheduling, and rescheduling. A shared API roadmap will add more workflows for tasks such as testing based follow up, urgent symptom escalation, cataract surgery coordination, and scheduling across multiple locations.
The agents also support patient intake, referrals, medication requests, payments, task management, and coverage outside business hours. DuPage Ophthalmology uses the system for about 500 patient calls each week and reports that it saves more than 60% of call handling time.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
