Augury Releases Industrial Profile for Google Cloud's Open Knowledge Format

September 10, 2026
Augury released an open source industrial profile for Google Cloud's Open Knowledge Format. It structures manufacturing knowledge and sensor policies for use by AI agents.

Augury announced in a press release an open source industrial profile for the Open Knowledge Format from Google Cloud. The profile structures plant floor context, operator knowledge, operational relationships, and sensor trust policies as human verified information for AI agents.

The conventions cover knowledge provenance, policies for stale or stuck telemetry, cause and effect relationships between signals, and mappings to standards including ISA-95, ISA-88, and the Asset Administration Shell. The profile references operating limits, setpoints, and live data in source systems rather than duplicating them.

Augury published the profile on GitHub under the Apache 2.0 license. The repository includes an industrial example knowledge bundle, profile conventions, vocabulary documentation, developer guidelines, and reference bundles.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
