AXA XL and S-RM Outline Five Priorities for AI Risk Management
AXA XL and S-RM announced in a press release a report outlining five priorities for managing AI risks. The report, titled "Building Resilient AI," says AI adoption in critical business processes is moving faster than governance, security and incident response capabilities.
The priorities are establishing clear enterprise wide accountability, protecting sensitive data, managing risks throughout the AI lifecycle, assessing vendors and critical third parties, and preparing for losses involving cyber incidents, fraud, liability and business interruption.
The report examines data leakage, model manipulation, prompt injection, unreliable outputs, shadow AI and overly autonomous agents. It recommends strong data governance, secure models and applications, resilient suppliers and systems, robust access controls and continuous monitoring.
