Axelera AI Ships Europa Accelerators With Dell and Supermicro Systems
Axelera AI says products based on its Europa inference architecture are shipping, according to a company press release. The accelerators are available as chips for custom boards, Edge 232p PCIe cards and Server 250p PCIe cards.
The Edge 232p is available in validated systems from Dell Technologies and Supermicro. Axelera AI said the card works with the Dell XE5 and Supermicro 111AD, while additional validated systems are available from HPE, Lenovo, Advantech, Axiomtek, 2CRSi and Seco.
Europa supports language models, vision language models, generative AI, agentic systems and computer vision. Axelera AI claims the Edge 232p can deliver up to six times more tokens per second per watt than competing GPU systems, based on its internal tests against publicly available competitor data. Developers can deploy models across the company's hardware through its Voyager software tools.
