BackBox Introduces Kilter AI for Network Operations

BackBox introduces Kilter AI, an intelligence layer for network operations and security teams, the company announced in a press release. The company also renamed its Network Cyber Resilience Platform as Kilter and made Kilter AI available as part of the platform.

Kilter AI combines vulnerability data from CISA, NVD, NIST, and vendors. It provides CVE workaround information with vendor references, suggests workaround sequences for human review, and helps teams create device specific automations from command line input without writing scripts.

The Kilter Platform also includes Kilter ALM, which manages device lifecycles across more than 180 vendors and includes over 3,000 prebuilt automations. Kilter Enterprise covers compliance, policy enforcement, configuration integrity, vulnerability intelligence, and change monitoring. BackBox plans to add agent based network and security operations capabilities gradually.
