Balyasny Deploys Gemini for Financial Research
Balyasny Asset Management and Google Cloud announced in a press release that the investment firm is deploying Gemini models across its proprietary AI research platforms. The tools serve more than 200 investment teams that analyze earnings transcripts, central bank announcements, regulatory filings and market feeds.
Balyasny uses Gemini within a system that assigns research tasks to specialized models and agents. Its BAMAgent application connects with more than 80 internal financial databases and business tools, using Gemini for document retrieval, analysis of large datasets and interpretation of charts, balance sheets and corporate disclosures.
The models run on Google Cloud with VPC Service Controls to isolate Balyasny's trading data and strategies within its private cloud environment. The firm's Applied AI team will also test upcoming Gemini models through Google Cloud early access programs.
