BD Launches AI-Enabled Connected Care Platform and Pyxis Pro Medication System
BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) has introduced the BD Incada Connected Care Platform and the next-generation BD Pyxis Pro Automated Medication Dispensing Solution, announced in a press release.
The BD Incada Platform is a cloud-based, AI-enabled system built on Amazon Web Services infrastructure. It consolidates data from BD devices such as infusion pumps, patient monitors, and pharmacy robotics into a single ecosystem. The platform includes natural language analytics, customizable dashboards, and enterprise-wide visibility into medication inventory, enabling clinicians to access insights and improve medication availability.
The BD Pyxis Pro Dispensing Solution enhances medication storage and access at the point of care. It features expanded capacity, RFID badge scanning, wireless barcode scanners, and illuminated bins to streamline retrieval. The system also includes enhanced security for controlled substances and flexible, stackable configurations for different storage needs.
Together, the BD Incada Platform and BD Pyxis Pro aim to improve connectivity and data management across healthcare environments, supporting faster and more secure medication delivery.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
