Benekiva introduces Kiva, an AI claims assistant embedded in its Claims Workbench, the company said in a press release. The tool provides guidance to insurance claims professionals as they review and process claims.

Kiva surfaces reminders, flags incomplete information and identifies items that need attention before a claim can proceed. Its guidance appears within the existing claims workflow.

The assistant does not make claims decisions independently. Claims examiners retain oversight and use their own judgment when deciding how to proceed.
