BigID Launches AgentIQ for Data Security Automation
BigID announces AgentIQ in a press release, an agent interface for operating data security and compliance programs through prompts. It works within BigID and through Claude, Copilot, GPT, Gemini, custom enterprise agents, and internal AI platforms.
AgentIQ can retrieve information about an organization's data, investigate access violations, rank risks, revoke access, remediate exposure, and apply retention or quarantine policies. It can also enforce policies, process data subject requests, and automate recurring remediation across cloud, SaaS, on premises, database, file, and API sources.
Customers can use agents from BigID, build their own agents, or connect agents from other platforms through BigID's secure MCP. Security controls include permission inheritance at the API and MCP layers, action logs, password vaulting, customer managed encryption keys, telemetry, and support for isolated environments. AgentIQ works across more than 200 BigID integrations.
