Brainomix Launches Next-Generation Stroke AI Platform with Net Water Uptake Feature
Oxford-based Brainomix has launched its Brainomix 360 Stroke Next Generation platform at the International Stroke Conference in New Orleans, announced in a press release. The upgraded platform introduces an industry-first net water uptake (NWU) feature that provides quantitative insights into stroke injury using standard non-contrast CT scans.
The automated NWU functionality extends the capabilities of Brainomix 360 Stroke by measuring water uptake in brain tissue, offering clinicians additional data to support treatment and transfer decisions. The platform also includes enhanced DICOM viewing and AI-driven patient-specific insights aimed at improving workflow efficiency in stroke care.
Brainomix 360 Stroke Next Generation has received the Red Dot Design Award for its usability and innovation, joining previous recipients such as Apple and Sony. At the conference, the company is presenting five research abstracts, three of which were recognized by the American Heart Association with the Paul Dudley White International Scholar Award.
The studies include analyses on cost-effectiveness, validation of imaging models, and clinical performance of the Brainomix 360 Triage LVO tool, further expanding the evidence base for the AI imaging system.
