Brightray Signs Framework Agreement for Planned 40 MW Macao AI Data Center

Brightray Science announced in a press release that subsidiary Brightray Veridian signed a framework agreement on September 25 to supply prefabricated modules for a planned AI data center in Coloane, Macao. The project is designed for about 40 MW of IT capacity across a site of roughly 9,000 square meters, with delivery expected in the third quarter of 2027.

The agreement does not require either party to buy or supply modules. A definitive sales contract depends on Brightray Veridian securing a project tenant and the customer signing a binding lease. The framework agreement will terminate automatically if this condition is not met by September 30, 2027, and pricing remains provisional until a final contract is signed.

The planned five storey facility would use Brightray's fully prefabricated data center system. It is designed to meet Tier III standards, support air cooled, liquid cooled and hybrid systems, and accommodate racks from 10 kW to 500 kW. Final design, scope and timing remain subject to tenant requirements and regulatory approvals for power and land development.
