Causaly Introduces Scientific Workflows for Automated Life Sciences Research
Causaly announced in a press release the launch of Scientific Workflows, a new solution in its AI platform that converts expert scientific processes into repeatable workflows executed by multiple AI agents. The system produces structured, evidence-backed outputs such as target assessments, indication exploration reports, and safety dossiers to support consistent research across R&D programs.
Scientific Workflows allows life sciences organizations to codify their best scientific methods and standard operating procedures into governed processes that can be executed autonomously. Each workflow includes checkpoints for human oversight and creates traceable, auditable outputs to ensure scientific rigor and reproducibility.
According to Causaly, the platform’s multi-agent orchestration enables coordination between AI agents, allowing them to share context and manage handoffs across complex R&D tasks. Early deployments have shown that the system can reduce manual research time by up to a month per indication for large pharmaceutical companies.
The solution is available in ready-to-run formats for common R&D processes or can be tailored to reflect an organization’s unique scientific practices and data. Causaly also offers integration with private data sources through its Causaly Private Data feature, enabling secure use of internal and external evidence in research workflows.
