Cellular Intelligence Adds Yann LeCun and Three Scientists to Advisory Board

Sep 22, 2026
Cellular Intelligence appointed Yann LeCun, Bob Langer, Jens Nielsen and Fabian Theis to its Scientific Advisory Board. The company is developing a foundation model designed to predict cellular behavior.

Cellular Intelligence appointed Yann LeCun, Robert "Bob" Langer, Jens Nielsen and Fabian Theis to its Scientific Advisory Board, the company said in a press release. Langer will also serve as an observer on its Board of Directors.

The four advisers bring experience in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, systems biology and medicine. Cellular Intelligence is building a foundation model of cell signaling to predict cellular behavior.

The appointments follow the company's acquisition of STEM-PD, an investigational Parkinson's disease cell therapy, from Novo Nordisk AS in May 2026. Cellular Intelligence plans to use manufacturing and clinical data from the program to inform its models. STEM-PD has received FDA Fast Track designation, but its safety and efficacy have not been established.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
