Cigna Healthcare Introduces Health Sense for Personalized Care Support

Oct 6, 2026
Cigna Healthcare will begin rolling out Health Sense in early 2027, initially supporting customers with oncology and cardiometabolic needs.

Cigna Healthcare introduced Health Sense, a personalized support model that connects information about health, care, benefits, costs and previous customer interactions, the company said in a press release. The service uses Cigna's digital platform, clinical teams, care management programs and advanced reasoning technology to carry relevant context between interactions.

Health Sense can provide customers with information about available support, expected costs and participating providers. It also gives Cigna's clinical and care teams additional context when assisting customers and coordinating with their treating providers.

Cigna will begin rolling out Health Sense in early 2027, initially for customers with oncology and cardiometabolic needs. The service does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment or replace a treating provider.

Cigna projects that Health Sense could reduce inefficient health care spending by 10% by 2030. The company plans to expand it to more customers, conditions, programs and services after measuring initial results.
