Clinton Sparks and Johnny Gillespie Secure Patent for AI Mixing System
Grammy-nominated producer Clinton Sparks and tech visionary Johnny Gillespie have been granted a U.S. patent for an AI-driven music production system that automates professional mixing and mastering tasks, announced in a press release. Supported by GTT Group, the patented technology is designed to reduce the time and cost of post-production while preserving artistic control.
The system uses Intelligent Templates and cloud-based workflows to deliver a near-complete mix in minutes, allowing artists to focus on creative aspects rather than technical adjustments. It also compensates for suboptimal recording environments to ensure consistent sound quality across playback systems.
Sparks described the invention as a way to eliminate the frustration and expense of traditional studio work, enabling artists to maintain their creative flow. Gillespie emphasized that the system was built to empower creators by removing repetitive production tasks without replacing human input.
According to GTT Group, the patent represents a step toward making professional-level sound production accessible to artists regardless of location or budget.
