Clivet Debuts Magnetic Levitation Cooling Portfolio for AI Data Centers
Clivet said in a press release that it debuted its latest magnetic levitation technology and AI cooling portfolio at AI Infra Summit 2026 in Santa Clara, California. The portfolio includes cooling sources, coolant distribution units, fan walls and terminal units for data centers.
The magnetic levitation compressor uses two rotors and impellers that can adjust their speeds independently. The system can adapt to changes in computing loads, water temperatures, pressure ratios and operating strategies.
Clivet also displayed a high capacity coolant distribution unit that supports up to 3 MW with a 3 K approach temperature difference or 5 MW with a 5 K difference. Its predictive temperature controls limit fluctuations to ±0.5°C, while key components can be replaced during operation.
Clivet and CLOU also demonstrated a coordinated power and cooling system for AI workloads. CLOU supplied energy storage and power delivery technology, while Clivet supplied thermal management equipment for dense computing environments.
