Cognex launches the In-Sight 1750 Series, an AI based identification system for semiconductor wafers and panels. It reads difficult markings and supports upgrades from the In-Sight 1740.

Cognex Corporation announced in a press release the In-Sight 1750 Series, an identification system for semiconductor wafers and panels. The system combines AI technology, imaging and dedicated illumination to read degraded markings and difficult substrate materials.

The reader records wafer and panel identifiers to support traceability, process control and production throughput. Integrated read logging captures results for quality and process monitoring.

Cognex designed the In-Sight 1750 for integration into existing production operations. It supports job conversion and upgrades for In-Sight 1740 users, while a web based interface handles configuration and setup.
