Compal Expands Physical AI Collaboration with NVIDIA for Smart Hospitals
Compal Electronics showcased its expanded collaboration with NVIDIA at COMPUTEX 2026, focusing on Physical AI applications for smart hospital environments. The company announced in a press release that its POLYMEDX platform integrates robotics, AI orchestration, digital twin simulation, and edge AI into a scalable operational framework.
POLYMEDX uses NVIDIA’s Agent Ready Rheo Blueprint, which is built on NVIDIA Omniverse libraries, Isaac ROS CUDA X libraries, and Jetson systems. This combination supports digital twin simulation, AI model validation, robotics orchestration, and edge AI deployment in hospital operations.
At the event, Compal demonstrated intelligent task orchestration, human robot collaboration, and medical instrument tracking. The platform enables coordination across hospital logistics, information systems, and clinical workflows while improving efficiency through AI automation and simulation.
Compal plans to continue working with NVIDIA to validate and deploy Physical AI systems across Taiwan’s healthcare network. The company also intends to extend Physical AI applications to sectors such as semiconductor manufacturing and smart logistics.
