ControlRooms Launches Agentic Troubleshooting System for Chemical and Energy Plants
ControlRooms announced in a press release the launch of its Agentic Troubleshooting System for energy, petrochemical, and chemical producers. The system uses AI agents to detect production issues and help plant teams troubleshoot them.
The system uses Large Harmony Models, which learn patterns across thousands of process variables and flag departures from normal plant behavior. ControlRooms said the approach is designed to surface anomalies before conventional alarms trigger.
The product includes four agents. Detect finds anomalies across continuous instruments. Advise provides troubleshooting recommendations using chemical engineering knowledge, plant documents, process knowledge, standard operating procedures, and model outputs. Log captures operator observations through hands free voice notes or text. Handover creates AI drafted summaries and audio recaps for shift transitions.
ControlRooms said the system is live at more than 30 plants globally. The company also said one publicly traded enterprise customer projected $25 million in incremental EBITDA by 2030 using ControlRooms.
