Corgi Launches Golden Platform for Sports and Entertainment Insurance
Corgi has launched Golden by Corgi, a dedicated sports and entertainment insurance platform built for leagues, federations, clubs, events, and venues, announced in a press release. The offering targets a global sports sector valued at over 600 billion dollars.
Golden is led by Peter Akman and Mike T. Brown, both former professional athletes. The platform aims to replace fragmented insurance programs with a single integrated solution. Built on Corgi’s platform, it provides custom insurance programs, quick issuance of certificates, in-house claims handling, embedded risk support, and tailored prevention services.
Golden currently works with national governing bodies and Olympic programs, including USA Fencing. It offers over twenty lines of coverage designed for different types of sports organizations and facilities across the United States.
Corgi, described as the first AI native insurance company, has raised 374 million dollars since its founding and was most recently valued at 2.6 billion dollars.
