Crow Industries Marks One Year with Fenris UGV
Crow Industries has reached a significant milestone with its Fenris Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV), marking one year since its introduction. Announced in a press release, Fenris is the first American-made dual-use Group 2 UGV, designed for both defense and mining environments. Within eight months of its debut, Crow Industries secured its first military sale with the U.S. Department of Defense and has attracted interest from NATO, Ukraine, Israel, and Australia.
Fenris is engineered to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risks in complex environments. It supports multi-vehicle operations and is capable of coordinating with Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs). The UGV is payload-agnostic up to 500 lbs, suitable for various mission scenarios, including intelligence gathering and remote sUAS deployment.
Crow Industries has expanded Fenris' capabilities with three new configurations: Tactical, Sub-Terranean, and Heavy Duty. The Sub-Terranean version is designed for GPS-denied operations, providing situational awareness in underground environments. Fenris has been selected as a finalist in the U.S. Army's xTechOverwatch competition, where its Heavy Duty version will be publicly demonstrated for the first time.
