D-Robotics Raises $400 Million for Robotics Chips and Software

D-Robotics closed a $400 million Series C round to expand its Sunrise chip portfolio and build a software platform spanning robot development.

D-Robotics closed a $400 million Series C funding round, the company said in a press release. The round included a strategic investment from an unnamed global internet company, new institutional investors and existing shareholders.

D-Robotics will use the funding to expand its Sunrise chip portfolio and develop a software platform covering the robot development process. The company provides Sunrise chips and RDK robotics developer kits for humanoids, quadrupeds, home service robots and logistics robots.

The company said cumulative shipments of Sunrise chips have exceeded 8 million. Its Sunrise S600 chip, released in November 2025, is used by more than 20 embodied AI customers, including UBTECH, FOURIER, Booster Robotics and Astribot.
