Daimon Robotics presented tactile sensors, a data acquisition system and a physical world model at IROS 2026 in Pittsburgh.

Daimon Robotics announced in a press release that it is presenting its tactile intelligence infrastructure at IROS 2026 in Pittsburgh. The system combines tactile sensors, physical interaction data and a world model for robotic manipulation.

The DM-Tac sensor series uses more than 110,000 sensing units to capture over 12 tactile modalities. The Data-Nexus Acquisition System combines data collection devices, networking, processing pipelines and evaluation benchmarks, while Daimon-TWM uses physical interaction data to guide robot decisions and control.

The event includes the first public live demonstration of Daimon-TWM since its introduction in August. Robots use tactile feedback to assemble a friendship bracelet and apply a heat transfer design to a canvas bag, adjusting their actions as contact conditions change.
