Oct 16, 2026
DC Market Insights forecasts the data center fire detection and suppression market will grow from $4.47 billion in 2025 to $10.35 billion by 2035.

DC Market Insights said in a press release that the global data center fire detection and suppression market will grow from $4.47 billion in 2025 to $10.35 billion by 2035. The forecast represents a compound annual growth rate of 8.75%.

The report links spending growth to higher rack densities, lithium ion battery systems and restrictions on some clean agents. Water mist and hybrid suppression systems are projected to reach $1.14 billion by 2035, while inspection, testing and maintenance services are expected to reach $2.66 billion.

North America accounted for 40% of the market in 2025, followed by Asia Pacific at 28% and Europe at 23.5%. The report estimates that about 12 gigawatts of new capacity added each year will support roughly $2.95 billion in fire protection spending for new facilities.

DC Market Insights sells the report, aimed at fire protection vendors, data center operators, insurers and investors.
